We will be leaving Portland in two weeks!! The past month has flown by with preparations, seeing friends and wrapping up work for both of us! Mike has a few more days of school left and I will be working until the day we leave.
The checklist is getting much shorter and this weekend we will start to pack up our house. All our beautiful wedding presents will go back in their boxes and our belongings will be stored for the next year. It will be like opening our presents up again for the first time when we get back since everything is still so new and pretty:) After the house is packed, we will be preparing the condo for rental.
Mike and I are still getting our vaccines. Mike still has a bruise from his shot last week and I have a swollen deltoid from my rabies shot yesterday. I’ll be happy when those are done!
So, only 2 weeks left to say “see you later” to Portland, friends and our home. We are getting excited to start this adventure after so much time planning and dreaming.
