Death Row

Last night was an experience, I’ll say that.

We did a longer than usual warm up, then jumped right into 7 minute rounds. I had: Tim, Zig, Dumi, Daryl, Danny, and Long. A line up of killers. Tim, Danny and Long are all doing no gi world on Saturday.

I probably start off too quick with Tim, but it was a decent round for me. Zig smashed me, but I didn’t panic, and focused on doing one thing at a time to survive. It’s been a long time since Dumi and I have rolled, and he put it on me too.

I started off great with Daryl, half guard kimura to armlock, he postured up and I triangled. Took a bit, but I broke him down and locked it up, and squeezed. And squeezed. Adjusted my angle. Squeezed. Squeezed. And finally had to let it go because I had nothing left to squeeze with. I was shot for the rest of the round, and the rest of the night. The rounds Danny and Long were blurs.
