Upa & Roll

Since we’ve joined the Alliance team, the curriculum has changed slightly. No longer are the classes divided up into White Belt/Beginner and Blue Belt/Advanced. Now we’re back to the fundamentals, and everything else. The fundamentals are a rotating group of 20 something classes, cycled through one day after another.

Last night was the upa and roll mount escape. We added in the rest of the old BJJ 101 thread too, Fabio’s guard break, stack pass, knee slide to mount, then old school cross choke and/or americana. Then upa and roll to restart.

Stuff many of us have done a hundred times…but that doesn’t mean that the 101th time isn’t good practice.
