More judo, more chokes

The white belt class last night was more of the same. Self defense drill: block the punch, t-position, o goshi throw. Then more of the headlock escapes and resulting arm locks.

The advanced class started off with some take down drills. I paired up with purple belt Tim, and I was happy to have a chance to work the single leg. A big part of it is being confident enough in the move to commit fully to it.

The lesson of the night was more of the double attack from mount, cross choke, and if they escape, either the looping cross choke or the armlock. I really like this arm lock technique. Things are very tight for the guy on the bottom, and it appears to be hard to escape.
