Tiny Lesson. Many Rounds.

Tim led class last night, and taught a very specific lesson. Passing reverse DLR with a spider hook. I’m not sure I’ve ever ended up in this exact situation before, but it was a cool pass. Evan and I drilled it.

But not for very long, as we did zero variations or continuations. Right into rolling. I had Evan, Justin, Long, Wade, Tim, and one other.

I was specifically looking to work a few half guard sweeps, the backwards roll & octopus guard back up, and a new overhook combo. Never really ended up having a chance to use them though. I did try a new ankle lock from DLR against Long that he said was pretty close. And I had a great armlock setup against Justin that I almost got, if only I could remember the correct way to do a bratoplata.
