Passing Lasso

Two classes in a row!

Lesson of the day was passing lasso guard, specifically one where they also have a foot on your other bicep. Grip their collar with your lassoed hand, shuffle to flatten out their bicep holding leg, circle and grip at the knee. Square up, then sprawl out, drop your lassoed elbow, then insert your knee, open your elbow to eliminate the lasso hook. From there, depending on the reaction, we can pass to either side.

Wade, Danny, and I drilled together. Took Wade and I a bit to sort out the many steps, but we got there.

We did three 10 minute rounds again. I paired up with Danny, who is dinged up some, and doing No Gi Worlds next weekend, so we just kept drilling the pass. I didn’t mind, I was still stiff from Monday.
