There was crappy weather last night, but I was happy to see the lights on at the gym.  Predictably there was another light turnout.  Tim led the class, drilling the armlock that we’ve been doing alot of recently.  This time, we practiced with 50% resistance.  By slowing things down, and having Tim directly observe me, we picked up on a mistake that I was making.  It kept me ending up sitting on my own foot, rather than using that foot/shin to block my partner from rolling into me to defend.   Things went much better after that.

During warm up and the drilling, my rib started hurting again.  I think it’s due to being in side control so much this past week.  It looked like there wasn’t going to be a fundamentals class, and I really wasn’t up for any sparring, so I just took off early.
